Thanks a lot Bri! Mine did that and the batteries were removed to stop the beeping approximately 3 years ago (one in the hall, outside the kitchen), 18 months ago (one upstairs at the top of the landing) and 14 months ago (one in the basement, outside the boiler room).

I must remember to revisit this thread in about 6 months and remind myself to get some new batteries.... :lol:
