hi all,
I’m New to the forum and looking for some advice if anyone would be kind enough.
My background is from all types of flooring but over the last 5 years I’ve done tiling jobs for friends, family and customers but self taught working alongside other tilers. A lot of marking out and scribing techniques are same as flooring so found it quite easy with regards to that etc.
I completely understand all the types of subfloors/ requirments regarding moisture etc DPM/ and levelling/ smoothing / laitance removal /grinding as we do it daily for flooring.
Anyway I have a customer who has some 6mm 1ft square ceramics he wasnts fitted to his mobile home (static caravan)
The chipboard floor is solid but it’s still a wooden subfloor so has slight give of course.
What system would you guys use? Flexible adhesive combined with ditra Matt type system sufficient enough?
I suppose my worry is just they are only 6mm thick so want to use best system to ensure job is perfect for the customer.
Thank for any help in advance, I look forward to be more involved on the forum.
