when fixing ditra how do you have your adhesive how you would normally have it for fixing tile or much wetter

I tend to keep the addy the same for laying ditra as laying tile....

wetting the adhesive more than recommended will weaken the mix.. as in more water to cement ratio...

As the guys above say.
On another note i always leave the Ditra to set overnight, even with rapid set adhesive.
This way if you have to pull a tile up whilst you are laying it doesn't pull the mat up, which with a large format tile has even more chance of happening.

me too.. always leave over night...

usually try to leave over night , but is some cases 2-4 hrs

I mix it the same as for tiles, also leave it overnight to set.
