ok, last pic. this one shows the back passage section which is very rectangular leading off from the kitchen to the back door. Just rang the bloke, told him I'm not happy and I'm gonna lift them now before the adhesive sets. Thanks for all the replies.

Good idea, make sure you keep all the pictures as proof of the bad work! And scrape off as much adhesive as you can from the tiles and floor. Good luck and let us know how you get on with it

Just guessing here but it seems that in just over about 1600mm he is about 100mm out of square ????

He said ok well if you want to start lifting them up now I'll come round in the morning and do them again!!!!!!

He's just come round now as I asked him to pick up his tools and he's just said what are you taking them up for and after pointing out the faults he's agreeing with me!!!!

Clean them up quickly and get yourself a Tiler where are you from someone here may be able to help you it's better paying for it to be done propley it's a lot cheaper in the long run good luck ete
