fuel costs/ mpg

I was looking at new vans today ,I have a nissan primastar and it does about 32-33 miles per gallon i do 20.000 miles per year which works out a fuel cost of about £4000 per year at current prices what van do you drive and how much mpg does it do as this is going to be a major factor on which van I choose thanks Gary

I have a Transit Connect and i would say i get 40 mpg+ around the doors..and well over that on the motorway...

I drive my '07 trafic and last week i was driving over 100 miles a day and was clearing over 40 MPG for sure.
Mines the 2.0L 115HP

same as mine Joe but what the average combined mpg ,mine is good on a run too but in town its not so good

57 plate trafic, 115 dci+ as said about 38/40 mpg, slightly more on a run. The nearest motorway is 40 miles away so always town to town driving. Roughly about 650 miles to a tank full. Don't know how much to fill as I top it up every week but can imagine £110 possibly.

Most of my work is local Gary as in 20 miles radius and i have 46,000 on in 4 years.
Mine is easy on local runs too, last week we calculated at 44 MPG on that long haul but i'd say 36-38 on urban combined.
Good tight van mine.

Ford transit 58 plate 85bhp I get about 35 mpg and is a cracking van to drive. With my new L200 pickup with town driving, I'm getting around 22 mpg.

Drive a ford transit 56 plate not sure on mpg but it takes £100 to fill it and get 500 miles from full tank

£80 = 57 ltrs. Or 12.55 gallons. 480/12.55= 38.4mpg. That's not bad.

all i know is £20 lasts me a week or 2 in my combo, but 95% of my work is within 2 miles of home. and as there's only 3 sets of traffic lights within 20 miles of me i'm lucky that i spend very little time travelling to and from work

i have a vauxhall astra van 1.7cdti 55 reg i get between 55/60mpg.I stick to about 2000/2200 rpm.
