......It might be worth speaking to the locals to see if they can offer specialist grout but I doubt they will.

Thanks Ajax. Will do. It'll be interesting to see if the Parexlanko grout (545 Prolijoint Souple) is cement based or gypsum - it's not clear from their tech note. One thing that IS interesting though is that the grout claims to be water repellent (not water resistent) - might be good for avoiding mould growth. The BAL Superflex is just water resistant.

But not waterproof
 
Actually the data sheet does translate to Waterproof so not sure. Hydraulic binders and grey powders tend to indicate cement. It also has a pearlescent finish by the looks of it.
