Getting floor tiles square?

thanks all like u say i think taking the time to stop scratch your head thinking about where its going is probably best thanks all
 
As above, Pythagorus is your friend.
I always find my preferred datum and "3,4,5" from that.
If it's a small area then just dry lay a few tiles.
 
Same as above but I always find dry laying a few from centre of the door and using your eye has never failed me,your eye doesn't lie
 
I'm about to do our conservatory and am seriously thinking of setting the first few tiles out with a square, then screwing battens into the floor and tiling up to them from one side to get some perfect lines.

No it's not got ufh :lol:
