im using my angle grinder with a marcrist blade when ever possible these days instead of the wetcutter , ok you have to go outside but i usually set up the mixer in the cliients garage and do all the cutting and drilling there too, gives you more space to work inside...
he he i aint saying nowt lol 😳I do the same as PJC. Stand the other side and pull the tile towards me. Can't beleive that wouldn't have come to more peoples minds rather than getting soaked every day.
you dont need to put anything underneath , if its a smaller tile you can balance it on your knee while cutting or if its a large tile sit it on a crate or workbench with the cutting line hanging over the edge, as i said before get some practice in with it , next time you are cutting porcelain tiles round a quadrant showerbase you will be screaming out my name in thanks !! :lol:ok Andy but what do u cut down onto...i take it you cut through the tile so what do u put underneath?
