Thought I'd write this to give you something to laugh at!
been fixing 30m of slate floor in a kitchen/dining room since yesterday..nothing too tricky 4 tile bond..not bad screed...
The bummer is the customer asked me yesterday morning if I could start at the back of the house (ie garden end) in the dining room and work towwards the kitchen door at the front of the house (she had people coming around and needed to use the kitchen!)..fine I said...happy to oblige ....then I remembered it's a mid terrace with a six house walk around to a back alley and entrance through the rear of the garden!...doh!...needless to say I have enjoyed many many miles of walking the last 2 days and caught a bit of sunburn to boot!..finished fixing tonight..but I have to say...walking is pants.:prrr:
