grinder..

oh I see what ya mean guys yeh I should have now looking at it... oh well everyone is happy at the end of the day I will bare that in mind for next time thanks you 😉
sorry Ash, I had a more pressing item to deal with before I replied. The wife needed her slippers from upstairs and then Alan from ATS called cos I proper messed up an order haha, anyway.....
Ash, it's NOT a criticism m8, ultimately in this case it doesn't matter. But a small cut would be anything under half a tile. So by moving your tile halfway over centre line It'd create situation where u would have had only 3 tiles across instead of 4. That's all m8 no biggy!

yes mate I can completely see what you was saying once I sat back and looked at the pic it would of looked a lot better, I think I was more concerned about getting around the unit so the plynths are nice and flush.... one to remember for next time cheers bud

oh and an update on the Silicon around the sockets.... It didn't even need doing in the end as there were no real gaps behind, these tiles were nothing like the pic that someone I think it may of been bri put up, cheers 😉

ash go to b&q buy a 240v wet gutter for £30 use it until it blows up, am not a fan of grinders personally.sorry if that's been mentioned only read a couple of pages before boredom set in lol.

I already have that wet cutter and I absolutely hate it mate, much better with a grinder cheers 😉

think I paid £33 for it with the orange guard that literally rests on the tile so you cant see where the tile is being cut lol

Have you tried tightening the nut? I don't know the cutter you're talking about, but most can be tightened... Although, maybe that's wishful thinking with a £33 cutter lol!
