Grout not uniform colour

I've been using Mapei UCP 113 for about 400m of tiling recently and the colour has been uniform throughout, 2 and 3mm joints, mixed it slightly thicker and left it for about 20-25mins before first wash and yes it seems to dry perfect for me. Previously when using UCP I think maybe I was washing off a tad too early and there tended to be lighter patches, but as with everything it's just getting used to it

We do a lot of testing with our grouts and have found out that during the colder weather some grouts can take 2-4 days to dry. If grouting porcelain with a wide'ish joint don't be surprised if it is patchy for a couple of days. Patchiness is a sign that it may still be damp like you first thought.

Had 2 patchy mm2 jobs.both walls.smoke and pebble.still use it on floors but have been using TM 3000 for about 3 years on walls without issue

This cold weather is really slowing down drying and curing times. I had Bal level max take 16 hours to cure. The bag says tile after 4 hours (at 20 degs). Rapid st taking 5 hours. Grout taking 2 hours b4 i can wash off. Ok the house had no heating and i was tiling onto a concrete floor.

I always mix my grout really really thick and use a realy wrung out microfibre cloth to clean off. I just cant get a washboy float dry enough.
