With these sealers... is it true that you have to reapply them every two years at least? And is that what you tell the customer then? It's just I notice in my own bathroom, at some parts the grout is starting to get wet rather than before it just perled off, just seems odd and a bit frustrating, to have to rely on the customer then, when all is done and finished... I am thinking about my mosaics of course... and outdoor work...

All depends on what you clean the tiles etc with G.. High Ph cleaners will lessen the life..

If in doubt reseal..🙂

I have more questions about my bathroom that will take photos and another thread... but as mentioned in the mold thread, I dry my shower walls with a microfibre cloth and only use a bathroom shower spray around twice a week when in a rush, or sometimes after drying it...if I reseal, don't I seal possible spores inside it? That has held me back so far...

If you have no mould spores then you will be fine... also you have the homelux membrane and that should stop anything hitting the substrate.

Ah ok, I didn't think the spores were always visible, like too small in the beginning? Well remembered about the membrane, I'm impressed! 🙂 Do have an issue on a small part of the Silicon to the bath, but will take photos in better light... really irritating..

Strip it out and re-do... hot water cannot damage Silicon..🙂

Done that three times... :nonod: have two places where these black holes appear.. always the same places... :nonod: I have this sneaking suspicion... as I remember you mentioning once adhesive poking through, that may that is what it might be? Remember Mike put the bath in, THEN I did the tanking... the bottom edge may let have a bit seep out? It bugs me every morning...
