Grouting in corners question

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

corner tape sponsor this site and do a product for getting parralel lines to your Silicon

the problem with using masking tape is keeping an even space between the tapes plus you will get creep under at the grout lines

That Diamond is a little diamond

Spot on - Use spray water and keep finger wet - Don't think the white s will help - Never ever grout the corner Adgog - Probably a North Walien ! as minute expansion / contraction will crack the grout, even with polymer additive.

Over and Out - Going to prep for the match at the Millenium tonight - Going to get some Stella cans so Diamond can have some more empties.

Just have a spray bottle of water and washing up liquid mixed together to smooth the lines.

Whats the white spirit for aqua?

Always burnish down your masking tape if you don't want creeps and if you dont like fluffy edges get the tape off asap. You don't need to tape at all, you can apply it solely with the gun and leave it. I'm a mere mortal so I use the tape. lol

Used to grout skimmed corners myself up until a month or two ago, but now seen the light from a recent thread on here and Silicon everything.

Thats to drink Whilst you work :lol:

alby, I never mix my drinks, I have a meths bottle for that.:lol:

Times are hard!

With the right technique and cutting the correct angle on the Silicon nozzle you should be able to get a nice smooth line without any tools, wipes or spray.
