Had a guy in at work today...

Ended up having to sell him a wet saw as he was sooo confused as to why the ts60 wouldnt touch a marble tile....

Got offered the job but my price was what he was charging for refitting the whole bathroom. :yikes:

This is a daily thing, I might have 'tiler' of the day competition.

There has been a few in that I have had to correct from start to finish.

Todays other guy I advised to overboard the 2m2 floor, took our own brand superflex 2 part flex to tile over chipboard. His builder wouldnt ply/BB it just said tile it. I said save your reputation and take the half sheet thats in me van. He paid up and walked out.

I'm pleased I have taken this job for now as I know that Im helping people. Moneys poo like but there are opportunites in sight. As well as a little extra work once a month until I have a bigger contact base to go out again on my own. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

moving 350 miles away is a canny needs must !! cant wait to get back into it properly. Massive business plan currently undertaken after work. Im really looking to help all these people who get done over by 'tilers'. The daily amount and I cant stress enough is ridiculous.
