Disclaimer: I'm Swedish, so please accept my apologies in advance for not being fully aware of what's common practice in Britain, and difficulties with language, etc.

Niiice spanish If you add "urr" to pretty much every word, you've mastered Icelandic :lol: Or maybe not, but that's how it sounds, hehe.

Swedish kids get their first English lessons when they're seven or eight. It's compulsory. The teachers tend be a bit anal about proper grammar, correctness in the choice of words, etc, which is as it should. BUT! This means most Swedes under the age of 50 have a fairly good understanding of proper/correct English, which is kind of moot when you take a stroll down central (insert-name-of-any-city-in-the-UK). Abbreviations, slang words, local eccentricities... Sometimes I wonder if it's really English they teach in Swedish schools
