help!!how much to lay slate floor tiles to 570sqm??!!

I would have thought for a job this size they would only be looking at around 2 weeks to lay max.
That's 285 sqm per week, and just short of 41 sqm per day working 7 days a week.
When using 600 x 600's doing long days "14 hrs" you should be able to lay that amount per day, but you won't be doing it just on your own, it will be nearly a full time job just for a second person to be getting the adhesive mixed and combed out and sorting the tiles ready to use as your laying them.
Then maybe towards the end of the first week getting a third person to start the grouting.

This size job isn't for the one person with what time frame the club owners will probably want it doing in.
----
Also you will need to be fitting expansion joints in every 10 meters in all directions too, or changes in substrat or anyother obsticles like pillars ect.

thanks for all your input, the job is in ashford kent.If i get the job( i dont think i will cause of the time factor),i would be more than happy to have help, once again thanks everyone.

base it on m2 in my opinion matey. £25-30 should be about right as its such a big area you could afford to drop a little maybe, make sure you get it.

Nice job, where you based? As Alex1963 said you'll struggle with that time frame i reckon so you'll need some help!

You are having a laugh mate - at £25 to £30 per metre or drop a little ?

£30 would be my bare minimum plus materials !

Regardless of area they still need -
1 - Grading to thickness ( dependant on quality of slate ) Most is not graded prior to supply. With that area you could easily have a weeks work by yourself sorting them out.
2. Cleaning and sealing - and grouting and cleaning off and sealing again - this could take half as much time again as you took to lay them.

Base your quote on 3 sq m per bag coverage for your adhesive to take into account bedding up for any thin tiles.

Good luck.

Get a young lad to mix and labour for you for minimum wage !!
