Just wondered what you lads would do with this job - I have been asked to quote for a kitchen & bathroom. The lady who has requested the quote is having a kitchen & bathroom fitted by a company who apparently do not tile. She is unsure whether she wants a full or a half tile in the bathroom and even what type/size tile she wants. She has said that she has had other quotes but they have been rather expensive.

15m2 kitchen floor - remove existing tiles and lay new
5 linea metres splashback - nothing to remove

bathroom - 4m2 flooring - nothing to remove
15m2 walls for a full tile

The price has to include all adhesive, grout and slc and any trims

The reason I am querying this is because I normally do new builds/conservatories and think this is strange that she is unsure exactly what she wants but needs quotes asap. Is this the norm? & what would you quote?

Thanks

i would give an estimate if she is not sure what she wants then how can you quote for it with out giving her more than one quote for each job £22 to £25 per m2 for walls and £30 per m2 for the floor this would include adhesive, grout, trim, and ply wood for the floor if needed

Thanks For The Help I Will Give Her A Estimate As No Tiles For The Wall Or Floor Have Been Chosen

Beware! After getting a price she may pick something nightmarish like glass sheet mosaic or 4x4 stainless steel tiles!Tell her the price is based on normal ceramic tiles.....and anything cuckoo will be extra.
