Help needed with retiling bathroom

Hi, I'll be tiling a bathroom floor and walls in the next few days and need some help with the adhesive and primer i'll need to use.

I've used WBP ply on the wall behind the toilet, a small part of the wall inside the shower cubicle and will be using it behind the sink. I haven't primed it as I'm unsure about what to use. I'm planning on tiling over the existing ceramic tiles that are inside the shower cubicle. I'll be using 8 x 6" ceramic tiles.

Can anyone advise me on what primer is needed?

The floor has marley tiles down, which are solid apart from where I've taken the toilet and old bath and sink out and have broken and come away. I was going to tile straight onto the marley, is this a good idea? If I can tile on top of them, what can I use to patch over the concrete where broken tiles have come up and what do I prime with? I'm planning on using porcelain tiles roughly 18 x 18".

Cheers...good forum by the way 🙂

I would remove any existing tiles you are planning to tile on tile, are the tiles that are already fixed solid and what are they fixed to plaster etc..

The floor tiles that didn't break when I took the bath, toilet and sink out are solid and on concrete, the wall tiles are on plasterboard.

almost a no no if you have to use it you need to seal the back and edges not the face you are going to tile on but IMO i wouldn't have it anywhere certainly not anywhere there is water

Can be, but the boss isn't keen on doing it and doing so would mean he'd have to plasterboard over the existing ceramic tiles in the cubicle area to level it out, which he doesn't want to do.
