Hi Mike and :welcome:

Whereabouts in Belgium are you? My wife lived and worked in Brussels for 6 months - lovely city:thumbsup:

I've used to live for the last 12 months very near to Brussels, but I'm moving back to my old place near Antwerp. I won't stay there for very long I hope :mad2:

I've been to Antwerp as well - went there to watch my football team Newcastle United play Royal Antwerp in the Uefa Cup years ago:thumbsup: - nice place, not that I seen much of it as the police had us under quite tight security:thumbsdown:

Had a canny day out in Ostend as well, although had a bit of a run in with a few smugglers in a back street bar:thumbsdown:

aww seems like you have had a few bad experiences in Belgium, mine are total different, police doesn't seem to have any security here  but in your situation I understand completely :) Our football police team is very good :hurray:

anything positive? :drool5:

That street off the Grande Place in Brussells that has all the fish restaurants - mussels never tasted so good :hurray: also had a few days in the bars on the grande PLace trying to drink all the beers on the menu..... pretty diffiicult when the weakest lager on there was Stella Artois at 5.2%, the rest were anything up to 16% :8::drool5: strawberry beer not really my thing:thumbsdown:
Went to the Belgian Motor Show at the Atomium which was spot on:thumbsup:
