yes get a powedered adhesive,,if your using white grout i would also advide you buy white adhesive as it will make your job easier cleaning them,

My b/f is removing them all today, just not sure which tile adhesive to go with, it is roughly 6m² so I am looking at £30 for the adhesive BAL rapid set, and this is grey, the grout will be ivory.

The other thing is we have a mosaic border going the the tiles, they are too thin so how would you suggest building it up to sit flush with the brick tiles?

do you have a Tile Giant near you Flowerpot? if so get some white Keraquick (Mapei), altho' Bal is good adhesive, it is very overpriced imo.

hi if your using ivory grout i would buy your adhesive in white as oppose to grey,did you fix this border in 1st go? just you didnt mention it?

you can search on here how to fix borders on the search bar there is a good couple of demos on how to do it,,you will defo need powdered adhesive for this,the white will be more expensive my a few pounds but it will save you a lot of hassle at the end of the job

what part of the UK are you in Flowerpot? The reason we're keep pushing Tile Giant is cos they are the forum's main sponsor and they sell Mapei adhesives at prices which are less choking than BAL's prices.

Just had a look and there is on only 10 miles away from me, I am near Birmingham

Comparing the two, BAL Rapidset and Adesilex P9 White looks to be almost the same price, BAL being £35.99 or grey is £26.99 20KG and Adesilex being £32.69 or grey £30.64:juggle:
