Note that using either dispersion (tubbed) or cement-based (slow set) after even a day will still pull off, and it can either leave adhesive on the wall or the tile, or half and half depending on subsrate type and tile type.

It's down to the curing time of the adhesive. It sort of 'sets' in X hours, but can take weeks to fully cure. Often pulling off a tile and then struggling to remove the adhesive off the wall or tile shows it *might* have stuck if left.

I think a professional tilers visit will do the world of good. Please do give feedback on the tiler that visits as it'll do him the world of good. :)
