How do you drive?

I use my Vectra estate, we already have two cars and have no parking for a third, and i need the veccy to cart the dogs around in so its the most practical choice for me at the moment. I may give it to the missus when her car finance is up and trade her car in for a van for me.

Fiat Doblo Cargo for work, Harley Davidson for play, Mini for the wife,(no thats not an invite for swaps).

How do I drive, Really? Like a bat outta hell.........and let me tell you, it must be a sight, this Dodge is a Beast, and she shakes in the wind!

Seen the movie, CadieShack?......or Dumb & Dumber?........Mine is like that van, except without the fur.

I know I'm safe, most of the time. However, I'm still stuck on the Transporter flicks, and I've picked up some real slick habbits for saving time.

Tile Transportation History for LOFTHOUSE STONE

1. rode a Schwinn Mountain bike to OJ & G Fine Stone, in East Fort Worth, for 1 year. (just to work for $7 per hour in the warehouse)

2. my sweet wife, Mindy, allowed me to use her 2000 Pontiac Sunfire/2 Door coupe.....with wetsaw in back trunk...and tile in the seat. (couples have to practice teamwork to put food on the table)(it's mandatory)

3. got a 1982 Chevy El Camino from an uncle, at a discount price in exchange for partial tile contract, the rest in chump change! Although I was greatful, this car used a lot of gas & was high in repairs. This phrase demands emphasis; "Never work for family, never hire family"

4. by the Grace of God, and a few well planned decisions, we sold the coupe, and bought a used 1989 Dogde Ram Van, in very good shape. I am humble, yet very proud, almost obsessive about keeping it in tip-top condition. (No-one would finance this lad) God had better plans you see.

Whatever you drive, take care of it.....it will sure take care of you. The important thing is that you are crossing bridges and making a living.

One more thing, don't let the car you drive define you. Walk tall, and with dignity. You're a most distinguished character, and noble you are.......a TileSetter by Trade.

As long as you hold true to that, never mind what anyone else says. Chances are, they'll see you're trying and love you for it.

You can upgrade in due time.

Best Wishes, Holiday Cheer:wheelchair:

I've got a belingo, and with my class 1 police experience, I still think I'm driving a meat wagon................:smash:
