How long to lay 20 sq m of Slate?

Tuesday start to lay 20 sq m of honed slate (never used it before), while customer is on hols till Saturday

How long do you reckon to lay Dittra matting (across half concrete, half T &G), mark out floor, lay tiles (using Mapei Rapid set flexi), seal tiles before & after grouting, then finally grout up.?

hi martyn mate...you should get that done within that time scale no probs.....

Just noticed you intend to use flexi adhesive on ditra...you dont use flexi on ditra just normal thin set adhesive.....read this link it will explain about the installtion of ditra..

you should be able to get the ditra down and tile between 5-10 metres in a day as you can work on top of ditra straight away. tile the rest and get sealer on the next day. grout up wednesday and final seal thurs morning
