what I was saying Deano, was 1500 was expensive for a course with no qualification when it cost me 1500 per year to do my HND but once again everyone was on my back from the start, as for college I will be doing that one day a week, as for the 2 week course this to give me more experience and more tool time, as money isn't really a big issue as the moment.

You wont do a massive amount in 2 weeks, do a four week one, you'll have alot more tool time as in the first week or two you'll have a fair few lectures if its anything like the one I did (I did 4 week).

nah mate I am currently on jsa... was laid off and looked into tiling dec 2012. I cant afford to go to college as the dhole money I get barely keeps the bailiffs away lol. done roughly a month n half of voluntary with a local tiler... that didn't work out and done a couple of days with one of the pros on this site which made me realise I want to do this for a living it will just take a long time to get there and now I just do jobs for family and friends. and that's me life story haha

I just want to say I am sorry for your current unemployment It must be really hard for you?! I am really lucky to have my job in the retail sector so business is great and booming. all I can say is keep your chin up and something will come along. courses and college are expensive and that's before you buy tools or van.
