Yes you can, you can remove most of the meat with a blade first, then polish it in with Sait pads.

Grinder or wet saw to remove meat ?

Too late, I’ve already done the job, whilst he’s been typing questions out. I even did ten coats of sealer and popped a cherry on top of the work.

As you can tell I don't have much experience with travertine. The job in question will be my own bathroom. When i can get around to it later this month / next. It's not a paying job. I don't have enough experience with stone to take those on. But hoping to learn from this project. I was in one of my OCD phases last night trying to cover all bases. sorry for the barrage of questions Thank you for your good humour and taking the time to answer
