It is just when i chat to others trades and even tilers .. some say they are dead.. vertually zilch on..

january was ok, but gone dead now, done a few quotes, but no one seems to be in a rush, allways the same...when your piled out with work no one wants to wait, and when you got no work no one's in a rush...lol

I'm not sure yet, this next week or fortnight should be make or break for the current project. I'll play it by ear until then.

Had a good enough January. Not making a fortune but was able to keep working every day so better than I initially expected. Still only a week or two ahead but plenty in the pipeline including a few full houses. Hopefully it really picks up this month after everyone's got over Christmas. The majority of tilers/tile shops I've been talking to over the last few weeks have been very quiet so would say I'm getting on OK. If I have another year like last year I'll be happy.

I think , as long as you can tick along , it is better than nothing at all... work is work , no matter how far ahead you are.

I do know some that are desperate .. so be thankful i say.. 🙂

I think its the same in most trades at the moment people who have got the money don,t want to part with it or want the job doing for as little as possible.
