Discuss Hows your week been ? in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

This week started off pretty good, 19 msq up, and grouted in 3 days. Then on thursday woke up with the worlds worst ear infection, and a ear the size of a cauliflower and really bad pain, but thought soldier on, as you do. The ufh and marmox turned up thursday afternoon, to be fitted friday morning. First time i used a hot melt glue gun to stick the cable down, that went brilliantly, got half way down the stairs, to mix the screed, when i realised i was just about to do a douge (forgot to fit the probe) back up stairs got it out the box, put the tester on it and :incazzato::incazzato::incazzato:no reading. Now got to wait till monday as the customer got this kit off the internet to see about getting a replacment, and that wont turn up untill wed/thurs either, i bet. Funny how a little bit of cable can mess every thing up.

been ok this week, just a normal week 19m2 bathroom all done and dusted, then went onto the next en-suite 22m2 all old tiles and shower stripped out ready for delivery of tiles and shower next thursday, nice little 25m2 floor to sort out before then.
the bathroom this week had a sloping ceiling, you know the ones where you have to mitre the back of the tiles so you get the tile front touching the ceiling.

Spent Monday through Thurs doing kitchen splashbacks... 5 metre long galley kitchen with wall cupboards on both sides, How many times do you have to whack your head before before you learn to be more careful!!

Yesterday was a bit of boxing in a bathroom - Quoted for 2 hours work and ended up taking 4 hours... Was either a faulty tape measure or brain damage!

Then got a call last night cancelling next weeks job - Not Happy! What a great week... Hey ho at least it's the weekend now!!
