The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

I laid a garage floor a couple of months back. Yesterday I got a call from the customer rang to say there was a cut he wasn't happy about, I was gutted and told him I would call today. When I arrived the customer ( a guy I have done a lot of work for in the past) was grinning fro ear to ear.

He led me to the garage and pointed out the cut he was concerned about, it was a checkout around a square downspout, I inspected the cut and told him "in my opinion the cut is perfect. He then started laughing and picked up the downspout which had just been leaning against the wall.

I need to take more notice, and look up from the floor now and then, the offcut of pipe was approx 2m long just propped against the wall. I now wait to be ridiculed by my peers:yikes::lol:

in fact how did you get the cut round both that and the garage door with out a bit of jiggery pokery

I can't remember Rob, when you get to my age things get confusing, ah! now I remember. I think I must have picked up the offcut of downspout, fixed the cut, and then replaced the pipe that lead to nowhere. Hang on! that makes me worse than I thought:yikes::mad2::incazzato:
