Theres a lot to be said for not living in a city. I couldnt wait to move to London when I was younger, and now I cant wait to move out... but dont see how that will happen anytime soon The grass is always greener on the other side, except I never get to see it, surrounded by the concrete jungle.

my husband was the exact opposite. he grew up in East London and couldn't wait to leave! best decision he ever made as he met me by going to uni in Stoke :smilewinkgrin: plus, he likes the fact that we paid the same amount of money for a 3 bed detached house in Stoke as his little brother did for a 1 bed flat in East London :lol:

Oh really? :yikes: God, I know nothing... lived in London 32 years ago... :lol: just rare visits now, enjoy the blast from the past and am glad to go back home again :lol:
