You'll probably find that most dealers don't have a lot of the cars they have on their web site as they have already sold them and leave them on to bulk it out...

^^^ This is sadly very accurate of far too many dealers.

Screw them, if they don't want your trade then take it to someone who does

Do you really need 4wd? Will cost more in tyres. Are the crash test figures for the freelander better than they used to be. :yikes: Proberbly more mpg with saab.Who will drive more? Freelander would be easier with baby.

What u gonna do ?:driving:

4wd will be a godsend for my route to work. I constantly use country lanes as they're much quieter than the main roads, but low profile tyres don't last long when they hit stones that have fallen from the stone walls along the sides of the lanes 😳

and believe me Del, nothing will cost more than what I currently pay for my low profiles (160 a corner :yikes🙂

after the baby is born, I'll be going back to work full time and hubby will be packing in work completely, so the Saab and the freelander will both be good options. Hubby will have the Saab during the week and then load his golf clubs in it at the weekends, and I'll use the Freelander as a commuting tool only. I really like the Saab myself, esp as it's an auto 😳

we'll consider having both I think. we do need 2 cars, so they'll be quite interchangeable for me and hubby to use.

The saab is a good choice liz I bought a 900se Turbo one for work use as the boot space was massive. It had 127,000 on the clock still went like the clappers. I abused it as a work vehicle for another 35k miles before selling it to a mate who used it up to 180k miles. One engine and no major wrok required. The brakes on mine were GM based as is most of the runnin ggear so there are GM compatible parts.
