tomorrow I shall be looking at a Nissan X-trail, Landrover Freelander, a Saab 9-5 and an Audi A4 estate :hurray: all at the same place :hurray:

If you come across a black Mondeo 08 plate don't buy it - it could be mine.......

I don't mind a high miler so long as it's been fully serviced and looked after. I'm only gonna be putting about 10k miles on it in 5 years

high mileage. just had it's 100,000 mile service at 102276 miles and is less than 3 years old. Had new Steering rack and just had major problem with the front wheel tracking......wore out the inner wall of both brand new tires in about 2months......trust me GRR you would not want this car. It has not been serviced as regularly as it should cos for the first 60,000miles or so I thought the service interval was 30,000miles but it turned out it was 12,500 miles.....nightmare. It has got a good stereo and heated front seats though.

did the car not tell you it needed servicing Alan? even my corsa flashes up a little spanner on the dashboard when the engine computer realises it's time for a spruce up

Did not know you are with child.Guessing.(or are you saving for a really good wine).
I've owned a saab,it was great.

yep, expecting a little one in mid July Del. somehow the Corsa just won't be big enough anymore

test drove the Saab 9-5, it was lush :drool5: Mr GRR is really taken with it and has done nothing but talk about it since we left the showroom. we also test drove a Land Rover Freelander 1.8 petrol, and it had some poke. bit whallowy as any high sided 4x4 would be, but permanent 4wd and a nice high driving position, no bending down to get stuff in the boot, and a nice solid all rounder. just need to pimp Mr GRR out to pay for it all
