had a bo peep at a kitchen and dinning room floor area that customer whants tiling
substate timber tung and grooved floorboards (not a floating floor) solid no creakes or deflect anywere no bounce either
now heres the problem floor is 9metres long by 6 metres wide and sits below the floor in the rest of the house (must of been a porch area at some time i think) customer wants floor finished at same level as rest of house////////
heres the problem on the house side of the floor its 30 mm low in one corner and in the other its 22mm now the other side of the floor is 58mm and the others 25mm
tiles are 10mm thick
so what do you think would be the best way to aproach this one this is just out of interest as to different ways it can be done i have quoted it and to keep things above board have sent answer to a moderator so fire away lets hear them
thanks jay
