Thinnest bases I have come across and did not snap off when tightening. Brilliant if you want to save money on adhesive consumption and not double trowelling.
I need to find a cheaper supplier than the shop I went in though.
The new clip is the one on the left by the way - the middle is ebay and the right is a Mustang clip.

The price I saw in Selco are dearer than the shop I bought them from - unless I can get a discount at Selco that is....will give them a bell.
