Been using these today, minimal water just dip the tip and thru 12mm porcelain tiles easily. Good price as well

I bought a similar set of dry-use Marcrist bits from CTD when they were on offer. Amazingly fast and clean so I bought another set and stashed it!

Nice, Cranbrook. Did you buy it for a particular job?
Ive got an envelope cut on the bathroom (so would like to try some polishing pads) I've got so as I needed a new grinder, I thought I'd try and kill two birds with one stone.. Trying to think of what other things it could come in handy for...

Some large diameter hole saws im experimenting with running at a slightly slower speed as peripheral speed at 12000 rpm with large drill is properly fast with a large diameter

Treated myself to a cordless multi tool, t stack box. A few attachments like dust extractor take off and a depth stop, some sanding pads etc

Yeah I just had a couple of 35mm holes to do and I found it was better using the grinder on a lower speed.. Cleaner finish

Eh? i thought a larger diameter would rotate more slowly than a smaller diameter?
do you mean its better to slow them down so they're easier to handle?

The larger the diameter the faster it spins at the perimeter. Like bike gearing. Probably why larger grinders are less rpm.

I haven’t used the multi tool yet. It was around £125 I think with the box and some bits. Can be them for about £100 bare. That’s the reason I got it, for convenience.
