on another hand. met one of the local tillers who pop in. very nice chap gave me a few pointer and got chatting. he asked me if I had primed the tile, so I replied 'how long have you been tiling?' 8 years and he thinks you should prime tiles when tiling on tiles. some of his work was stunning though

Ash, wait till someone with 25+ years experience tells you to PVA tiles & you won't have a problem.
It was a glazed porcelain tile in my mates house & I couldn't lift them, scored them all with a grinder & cleaned them up, job done.

I presume they have got a basic rate for theyre displays,but if theyre gonna pay you for this one aswell,thats a bonus.Ive not been payed for any displays ive done.:bigcry::bigcry: Have you had any customers aproach you whilst working there Ash ?

yeh I did have one guy approach me asking if I did all of the tiling for the shop, I just tld him to speak with the manager as I don't want to seem I am trying to take there work away from them.

Well done Ash, you're a natural.....:thumbsup:. You must have stood back, looked at it, and been really pleased with how it looks.

And you're being paid for it as well. Win win.
well hopefully mate, im really getting the feeling there will be no money involved as it would of been in my hand today but tmoz will tell, I don't mind either way though lol. was really pleased with it but there were a couple of things I would of done better. but that can be done on the next job lol cheers

That's the right attitude to have with your next job every time! I'd be worried for you if you didn't think like this. Always always always room for improvement if your passionate about your work.
