What about the water sitting on the tile overhanging the bed? It does seem a very smooth cutter though!

Any flat bed cutter you will get water dripping off a tile but very little really on this one... it is the design on the blade guard that makes this so much drier.. no getting a wet streak up your shirt like other wet saws... or on ya pants and making it look like you pee'd ya self

Be interesting if you could do a back to back comparison with the dewalt as that's the main weapon on here. Similar money. I am looking forward to a good review.

Well i upgraded the blade so i could compare cutting speed etc to my Dewalt with the DNA blade...

So i have the 9p and the 86c blade combo and all i can say is i have not had the Dewalt out in weeks.. the 9p is a very capable cutter and is handling anything i can throw at it so far... a very pleasurable machine to use and so so easy to set up and get in and out the van and even easier to clean down compared to my Dewalt..

Oh and a very quiet motor..

It was a joke mate.

I wouldn't mind a try out on the P9 though.

If it was better than the dewalt then I would buy one.

I hardly use mine unless doing stone, it does take a long time to clean down after use and its a big monster tbh but it is a good cutter once set up. The sigma does look a very portable refined machine, only thing I don't like about it is, I usually do a light score of 2 mm along length of cut before cutting right through, not sure if this is possible with the 9p. If I was gonna go for one then I'd need to see the whole range of sigma wet saws. What other models are there anyone?
