Large format snapper. Recommendations please

Evening all,

Got a couple of jobs coming up using 950mm and 1050mm length tiles so decided to treat myself to a new cutter. Seen the Rubi TX1200N and looks good (already got a TX700 and I'm happy/used to that). Anyone got one of these mega Rubis? Any problems I should consider befoer hitting the buy button? I don't want to waste £600!

What do you guys use? What do you recommend?

Sigma 3ek or 3em ... 1250mm cutters and awesome and a lot lighter than the Rubi.. 🙂

Know a lad who had the TX1200 (Rubi diehard) but always borrowed a 3EK for the big stuff. Don't think it was up to the job although he would never admit it.

I've got the old model TX1200, it's been used on all sorts in the 4 years I've owned it. Great cutter, the odd dodgy cut but, since I started using a 22mm wheel in it, it hasn't missed a beat.

I have a quiet word with myself and tell myself my setting out is pants! The TX will take 20mm off a tile, and the best thing is, I can see where I'm cutting, no guess work necessary, lol!
