largest floor tiles

are they 4mm thick ray?
as above 5.5mm:lol:
 
I thought they'd be more pricey than that, what they like at 5.5 mm and that large?
900x900 1200x600 are a one man lay the 5.5mm makes them easy to handle the 1800x 900 are a two man lay or one man and aprentice with brains .
 
scary stuff.... can't make mistake cutting or installing ... I'm on project where I will be fitting 1000x1000x20, 1000x1400x20 marble on walls and floor. And I do all templates and drawings. If I make mistake, I better leave UK :lol:
 
that is what I'm saying... had 3000x1200x4 tiles and had to cut it down to 2500x1000 and fit it. Not easy at all , Ray. And my arms are extra long :lol:, sadly, only two....

what did you cut them with. were they fibra glass backed
 
angle grinder... used masking tape and cut very carefully. I will actually will be going to that house next Friday, so will take some pictures
