Got a feeling that Mark (united) will be the man to speak to about this one.

Im looking for the Samsung B2100 solid extreme phone (sim free), any ideas for the place to go for the best price?

I got my Samsung B2100 from vodafone high street with a contract.

700 minutes and 250 text per month £20

I've now (after lots of mental torture!) short listed 3 phones for my upgrade at the end of the month.....

Not in any particular order:

1. Blackberry Storm 2

2. Blackberry Bold 9700

3. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

If anyone has any of these phones and can offer any pros and cons, that would be great:thumbsup:

Tough choice there mate.

They all do the same really so it's just personal choice and which one you like the look of

my husband has a Storm 2 and he loves it. his little bruv has the Bold and loved it until he tried hubby's Storm 2. their older bruv has an Xperia now I think.

have you looked at the newly released HTC Desire? (I haven't read the rest of the posts in this thread so don't berate me if you've already seen it and discounted it )

A recent client had the Storm 2 but he said he has to reset it often because it locks up.

yeah that is true, happens a lot to hubby. and when Voda send updates to the phone every morning, sometimes that can stall it as well. maybe newer built versions will be a bit more reliable, who knows.

But arent 2 touch screen and the 9700 a keypad ? Still looking myself

Yeah Neale - don't think that'll bother me too much...

TBH I was talking to a plumber on a job last week and he had the Iphone (which in previous threads I have rubbished for building site work due to my fears for scratching:thumbsup:) and he had a rubber cover with an anti scratch film over the screen and you couldnt see this film at all:thumbsup: That is what lead me to look at touchscreens.

Honestly my head is totally done in with which one to go for and what makes it worse is that there are no mobile phone shops on the island, so I can't even go in and have a look:mad2:

Was it deffo the Storm 2 Neale because I know the Storm 1 had loads of software issues...

Yeah that's correct, what I was saying was that all phones IMO do the same thing just with different designs. Some have better cameras some play music better but at the end of the day they all make calls and send texts so it's all just personal choice to what is overall the better phone
