Manufactured Curvature 60 x 30 cm Porcelain Tiles In Brick Pattern

A question for all you tilers out there can any one lay 60 x 30 cm porcelain floor tiles that have got a manufactured curvature in them that are all within EU & British standard tolerances in a brick pattern without tiles lipping and there being no appreciable difference between levels across tiles.Whats your answers.

Simple answer ... NO ... but! and i mean but , if you give a wider joint them planetising of tiles can be hid . but requires 4mm and above in bad cases..

I assume you mean bowed along the length not across the width. If the former, in half bond you will always have the high point of one tile adjacent to the low point of another. You could go with a wider joint as Granada says or go 1/3 bond. Either will disguise it a bit.

Unbelievably I know of one person that can do this brick pattern without no lipping and with no appreciable difference between levels across tiles.

That only works by laying each alternate row upside down as far as I'm aware!

Heat the tiles up with a hair dryer, bend them straight, then fit them! I do it all the time, easy peasy

You must be using the wrong GHDs mate, you need the mini ones if you are going to attempt this technical procedure. The hair dryer I use is a Vidal Sassoon, with a volumising attachment, perfect results every time, even better if you spray the tile first with some l'oreal straightening spray

See now that is where you are going wrong , you need to be climatic with the equiblerism of the mathematics of the clay used to determine if they can be used in-situ without causing planetary issues that are offensive to the nature if the human retina defectiveness that is known to complain
