y mate was travelling home in the early hours of this morning in Swindon. A Police Merc Van decided to stop in the street in front of him, Scott stopped behind the police van and then the daft buggers decided to reverse! My mate beeped his horn and tried to put his car in reverse too, BUT too late the police car rammed the front of his car and wrecked it! They have admitted full responsibility but not before Breathalizing both My mate and the Police Officer!
Unbelievable :mad2:

He did well, usually it goes in front of a hearing. My Dad has a taxi firm in Crewe, 23 taxi's in all, been hit twice and it took 12 months haggling.

The copper is probably suspended by the garage sgt by now until he concludes the accident. I now for sure the Met never haggled if it was obviously the coppers fault.

My mates was on the other side of the road approaching a blind bend on a 999 call, young girl coming the other way was taken right out, crushed both her legs, had to be cut out by the window cleaners.

She was to be married in a few weeks time. As I recall, she got a new motor, .5 million payment within months. My mate never drove a police car again.

1/2 million doesn't really make up for the use of your legs and a hinderedlife for 30/40 years.i would be looking for a lot more than that!

one of the guys that play golf with us,his mrs back ended a cop car at a roundabout and got breathalised,i'm pretty sure it's standard procedure(considering the thing is marked with illuminous paint it's hardly inconspicuos)
