Hi Guys,

Use a micro fiber towel for cleaning up grout - you will find it ten times faster than using just a sponge or washboy!! Use your sponge for the first wipe to make sure your joints and smooth and even, then go over with a folded micro fiber towel, it works a treat and will save you so much time as you don't have to continually clean your water.

I used them yesterday when using black gorut (normally very time consuming to clean up!) and it worked out better than ever.

Give it a go some time

I'll give it a try.

Normally use washboy and buff when dry with disposable blue paper roll.

No need to keep choking yourself outside when shaking the grout out of the customers best towel.. LOL

Mate give the micro cloths a go, you will be very happy! One wipe with the sponge, and then once over with the micro towel, and all done!! No haze at the end.... nothing!!! Then just put them in the washing machine ready for next time as you can use them over & over & over!

yeah got to vouch for them they're great to use once you've washboy'ed etc..
all supermarkets sell them ,have a look under your kitchen sink at home the may be a pack waiting to be stolen...

I'm not talking about your small kitchen wash up sponge, these towels are the size of a t-towel. I will try post a photo some time soon. I got mine here in NZ, they cost $50 for 25 of them. Not sure where you could get them from over there.

I used a grout trowel like this one - InExcess | Perimeter Rubber Float Trowel 669811

and a normal sponge to clean up - 2 for 50p at Wilkinsons - and worked a treat!

Even though I found this the most boring job out of all of it. Probably cos my back was knackered!!

Cheers :8:
