I'm sorry i looked at these photos because I'm nowhere near this level...makes me feel inadequate!
Don’t feel inadequate Paul, that’s what the forum is all about. Without the generosity from the likes of @3_fall sharing his work with us then it wouldn’t be what it is. Every day is a school day for most of us.
Be inspired by it and drive to improve I say.

Thank you Paul, very kind :)

They were cut either by a large format rail cutter or angle grinder.
My cutter will extend to 4.4 Lineal metres.
The job did take longer than it should because of on site issues and actual issues with the beige tile, and I had to have a factory rep from Italy visit to confirm.
Fortunately I was justified, so although it confirmed my suspicions, it wasted a lot of time.
It took approx 8 weeks, but there is a 5m x 5m room that was also done but not posted as yet.

Just two of us.

Having to cut in them niche boxes, looks like fun. I want to tile my downstairs toilet in something similar.

What could possibly go wrong ha ha

It’s all in the prep, get that right, the rest will be easier.
I’ve wanted to do it for a while now, missis keeps nagging me....

Ffs you tile 7 days a week for everyone else, but you can’t tile any of your own bathrooms :D

The only thing that’s putting me off, is the equipment needed to buy. Although no one is laying these tiles in guernsey.

The only job I’ve heard of over here, a team of lads came over from England.

Maybe I’ll bite the bullet and experiment on my own bathrooms.

If you were in a position to set yourself up with the right equipment and advertise the life out of it, I’m sure you’d carve yourself a niche market in no time. Might be more difficult sourcing the actual material more so than the equipment.
Choice of adhesive is vitally important too.

Oh and just so you realise you’re not alone, :)
I’ve 6 inch whites in my own bathroom, I kid you not! :p

I kind of see her point

Absolutely awful ha ha!

All jokes a side might give it a go, keep ahead of the competition. The missis preference is the big ones... been with her 15 years, an from day one she told me size didn’t matter!

Now all of a sudden she thinks bigger is better:D

There was a place here called stone tech an they had some Porcel-thin in but not sure what happened with it as the company is not open here anymore.
