Really strange, I'd been pretty shakey and in tears on and off most of the day, did some shopping in Sainsbury's and felt almost as if I was going to freak out in there, all seemed very surreal, and got home, baked a cake for tomorrow, pottered around a bit and all of a sudden I feel ok, really,... strange how emotions can bounce about, but really yes, right now everything is almost normal... no idea how it will feel later or tomorrow, or what... sorry for going on, do seem to have the need to talk about it ...us humans are odd creatures, aren't we...

we're just humans G, nothing odd about the swings and roundabouts associated with the grieving process. Never be sorry about "going on", you know that here you have some deep friends that will help you with your burden any way we can. We're here when you need a sounding board or somebody to shout at. We are your friends xx

Thank you, Doug and Oli, as well as everyone else, you know, it is SUCH a relief not having to have this feeling of dread any more EVERY time the phone rings, it's such a relief now, the waiting game is over, I feel like so much tension dropping off me. Nobody ever talks about the strain of having to wait for the inevitable with terminal illness, how it gets worse and worse and worse, and now, God, part of me can breathe again, it's over now, I can choose to forget about all the negative between him and me in my life, too, leave it in the past where it belongs, no power over me any more now, just take the best from it and move on... phew.... I swear, my breathing has changed... Everything is ok, different, and there will be a bit of yo-yoing backwards and forwards, but in the main everything is ok. :) I can move on.
