Nice one Alan, my mate does Event management. I will ask him to take a look at the site when its fully up with clips etc.
One point though, on the Biogs page. The text next to Teresa`s photo is too close IMO and could do with spacing away a touch.
Well done anyway, MrSites webs are not that easy to fine tune I found.

Agreed. Just can't work out how o space it. I am by no means a website guru. Will figure it out though. I do enjoy th challenge of sorting this sort of stuff

the audio samples will be great for prospective clients mate

me and the wife saw some youtube clips on the chaps we used at our wedding, the footage sealed the deal. Gives you a good idea of what you will get from the performers

That is the next bit we need to sort. Need to book a day. In a recording studio. Have been doing mainly covers but I have been writing some original stuff lately. Will hopefully sort in it in the next three or four weeks. No rush. Not looking for fame and fortune just to enjoy singing for folks.

The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

Funny how we don't see other peoples talents, Gerard from Dural plays guitar in a band. I know Dan is into his guitars, we tend to take people on face value, never realizing the hidden skills behind the professional front. I wonder how many TF members have have hidden musical or other artistic outlets? Poets, song writers, etc. we have a few artists in Gisela and Saad, and many more I'm sure. Maybe we should encourage our more gifted members to strut their stuff.:hurray:

What are the terms you'd like to rank for buddy?

Call me thick if you like dan but what does that mean?? Believe me I am no web expert. All advice gratefully received though. Are you talking SEO. That is the bit I have no idea whatever on.

Yeah,

So if you wanted to get business in from say "Easy Listening Singing Duo in Lincolnshire" or half a dozen other things for example. Then you need to say those in your website here and there. I'll be honest MrSites don't rank that well often but for a term that doesn't have much competition in Google it should still work. So pick half a dozen terms and mention those in your text. If you have the option, give the images a title of such terms too. If you have access to the actual Title of each page, then use the terms in there too.

Then last but not least, get a few links to your website from other websites and use the 'terms' as the actual link text.

Should start you off.

Here's an example site that ranks well that I did, Staffordshire VW Specialist | Staffordshire's Volkswagen Specialist | BVR Automotive. If you study just the wording alone, it's pretty clear what we want the site to rank for. Whist it takes some of the classy style of it away a little, it's important that you get visitors to your website. Else having one with nobody visiting it is like you getting 10,000 leaflets done and then sticking them in your shed.

If you need a hand, I'd be happy to login and tweak it a bit if you PM me the MrSite details. Might need to wait a couple of weeks, but I'm starting to catch up with work now.

As I recollect you some of your daughter photos on here a while back, talented young lady..

Yeah I remember them too. Didn't she work on a site and whatnot. She needs to optimise that too really.

Give me a shout if you need websites that you can customise yourself but that can be optimised. I can sort you the hosting of them out and install the system for you and show you how to add / change pages etc. But the system we use (like what Dave Howe's site is using) is really good at ranking well.

Thank you dan. I may well do that once I know what I'm doing. I shall try some SEO stuff in couplof days an see what happens.
