I was just leaving the job today when I bumped into a past customer, I did her house some 6 years back, anyway a quick chat and I was on my way, five minutes later I am in the van and stuck in traffic on my way to get Ellie, I was listening to the radio and was miles away, a car on the opposite side of the road was right beside me and I glanced at the driver, "mmm, I know him from somewhere, oh its Emma's hubby" I thought.
He wound down the window " hey up Dom, how are you mate" he asks
I replied that I had just left the office where his "missus was working"
He looked at me in puzzlement and motioned to the girl sitting next to him,

What could I say? I had got the wrong guy completely, I could hear his wife/girlfriend shouting at him in very colourful language, I drove off quick, red as a beetroot.

Still cant think who he was but his missus aint too happy.

My MIL continues to occasionally refer to the wife of her youngest son by the name of the fiancee that never married the same son. That break-up was about 10+ years ago. Talk about awkward at times!

my mother in law does something similar with her youngest son's wife Louise. she constantly refers to her as Joanne :mad2: Jo was a lovely girl, but that relationship only lasted a couple of years whereas bro in law and Louise have been going strong for at least 5 years

oh and if mil refers to me as Lydia, then I'll be throwing hubby out :incazzato:
