Your a tiler dan?I've never used these but was always of the same thought. And I've said it loads.
But it does seem many use them. And it does appear to help with the huge tiles that are just easier to mess up if one slips it can cause a half hour head ache.
I was tiling before these were out. I'd stopped before these even existed. Not a tiler now matey no. 🙂Your a tiler dan?
Ahh never new mate just thought you ran a bunch of trade sites lol. Staying on topic about these, i cant see how these can improve speed, technuiqe Or most importantly a guaranteed solid bed without having to lift each tile until satisfied?I was tiling before these were out. Well that was a conversation killer. 🙁
I've got a tub of the lash clips in the van that I bought for a recent 850x220mm plank job, they were a bit bowed (as seems to be the norm these days!) and I tried them to help twist them a bit, the long tiles do have a bit of flex in them, I only used them for a couple of rows and found they weren't great for what I needed so reverted to my normal method. I'm going to get a raimondi set to try next as they have the pliers to tighten the wedge where the lash system doesn't and I found it difficult to get enough pressure. I know they will be useful for large format tiles (say 900mm and above) as they do bend and flex, especially the thinner ones that have been bedded out.
