Not a problem Andy, as most have lockable roll-top/hydraulic/hardtops.Well guys those pick ups are certainly better looking than a Trannie Tipper. However I lost £600 worth of power tools whilst loading my van in Bristol earlier this year - round here you could lose your tools when stopped at the traffic lights if ur using a pickup. Good for carrying materials though.
carryboy gives a height advantage over a tonneau I reckon, (my old van still hasn't moved lol)
Totally agree with the height thing, but the tonneau give's it the proper pickup look that I like....0)

but the cab is separate from the pick-up section, so all the dust, apart from on your work clothes, stays in the pick-up sectionDon't like the idea of having to use it for work all week then you jump in it at the weekend and it's dusty and dirty. Seems awkward in that it has the same footprint as a van but you can get very little in it.
can't get all the caravanning gear in tho' under a tonneauTotally agree with the height thing, but the tonneau give's it the proper pickup look that I like....0)
