Newbie !!, need tiling advice !!

have heard of tiles being laid onto t+g with 2pf. never tried it myself.
don't know if 6mm ply ok with that.

I hope you've put plenty of screws in the ply (every 150mm). 6mm is really too thin (should be a minimum of 12mm WBP), but i know a few guys that do it and so far they've been lucky! If i was going to go down the 6mm route, i'd be looking at Tile Backer Board personally. Good luck with it, and keep us posted.

On the screwing front , i've gone every 6", i couldn't see any movement at all in the floor before i layed the tiles down . Should i cut my losses now , ie remove tiles and start from scratch , could i salvage the tiles and re-use them possibly ? :mad2:

I doubt you'll get em up without breaking them, but you might be lucky. I'd be inclined to leave it now, until they start cracking. If it doesn't fail, you've been REALLY lucky. If it does fail, you know how to do it next time.

Don't forget to consider tanking the area around the shower. You defo need to fasten down the wc pan do not rely on silicon alone.
