Discuss newly plastered walls in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.
there will be no weight issue with splashbacks so it wouldn't matter. also,if the plastering is dry lined and skimmed,it will be dry in days, but if wet plastered you have to wait a while as brian the tile as said.Im guessing this has been answered before but is it not better to tile straight on to a platerboard that has been bonded, rather than skimming and then tiling?
hi your new plasster will have to be bone dry before tiling i would give it minimum three weeks and then will have to be sealed with a penetrating sealer not uni bond ,poly bond or any other bond visit your local tile shop, as for the floor what is the reason for the ply?
